Independent Study (Not NSCC or RODP)

As a service to our community, the Testing Center offers proctoring services to students enrolled in other institutions.

Testing is available by appointment only. Students must register at least two days in advance.  If you need a different date and time then what is listed as available, please send an email request to testing.center@nscc.edu with the following information:

  • Your name
  • include that you are taking the exam for another institution (Independent Study) - list your institution name
  • Date and time of the request
  • Type of test:  paper/pencil, computerized, certification, etc.
  • We will try to accomodate the requested time if we have available seating and will email you back

For Independent Study testing, you will receive an email confirmation for your appointment, if you do not receive the confirmation, then you should contact the Testing Center.  The email confirmation is required to test.

If you prefer to take the test at a satellite campus, please contact that campus because their schedule will differ from the Nashville campus.  If you prefer the Nashville Campus, please pick a date and time here.

Students must register at least two days in advance.  Test instructions must arrive to the Testing Center at least two days in advance - please make sure to verify that your instructor/institution sends the instruction two days prior to your exam appointment.

Proctoring Fee: $25.00 per exam
