About Exams

All test fees are non refundable. You must arrive 15 minutes before your testing time.

Read instructions carefully before registering for the CLAST.

• You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your testing time.
• Computer-Based Testing Placement Test for Freshmen.
• The testing fee of $33 is paid online and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Important: Bring your driver's license or passport or state issued photo I.D.
• Please contact the office of Testing & Evaluation if you require special accommodations for testing.

• The CLEP test is a total of $103 with two separate payments.
• The testing fee of $33 is paid online and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The CLEP fee of $77 is paid on the day of the test (check, money order, credit card or debit card only). Checks for the CLEP fee must be payable to CLEP.
• Important: Bring two forms of ID. One form of ID must be your driver's license or passport or state issued ID.
• CLEP tests are computer-based and are 90 minutes long.
• You will get a printout of your CLEP score immediately following the test.
• It takes approximately 2-3 weeks for your school to receive your score.
• You must wait 180 days before re-taking any exam.

• The DSST test is a total of $113 with two separate payments.
• The DSST exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• The DSST of $80 is paid on the day of the test. ONLY credit cards are accepted.
