LSUA's preparatory course is 27 course hours over nine weeks. At the end of the nine weeks you will have a good understanding of all material covered, be able to combine the knowledge acquired, and apply it to the Louisiana Notary Exam.

Required Book: The Louisiana Notary Public examination official study guide, Fundamentals of Louisiana Notarial Law and Practice. Visit the Secretary of State's website, www.sos.la.gov, to purchase the study guide or for more information on the dates and deadlines for the exam.
