Testing Center Policies

Acts of misconduct or academic dishonesty will be reported. Candidates and students will be continuously monitored by video surveillance, walkthroughs, and the observation windows during testing. Computer activity is monitored.

  • Must present a valid (current) form of photo identification.
  • Must arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. You may or may not be accommodated if you are late, depending on seat availability and/or office hours.
  • Breaks, if applicable, are limited to five minutes. Personal belongings may not be accessed during breaks.
  • Electronic devices (cell phones, watches, Fitbits, wireless devices, etc.), food, drinks, hoodies, caps, hats, coats, large jackets, and weapons are not permitted in the test room. Any personal belongings will be stored in a secure location. Any necessary medication and medical devices will be allowed in the testing room upon visual inspection by the Testing Center staff.
  • Use of notes, books or calculators is not allowed unless specified in writing by the instructor.
  • Removing any test materials from the test room is an act of misconduct.
  • Talking or disturbing others is prohibited.
  • Discussing exam content during or after the exam with anyone is strictly prohibited.
  • Children and visitors are not allowed in the test room. Children are not allowed to be left unattended in the lobby or any other area of the college during testing.
