How to Schedule Your Exam
All GCSC students, FSU students, SAR students, and students taking make-up exams or exams outside their exam’s testing window (with instructors’ written permission)—must schedule exam appointment(s) in Register Blast at least 72 hours before their requested testing date(s) and time(s). Non-GCSC students who have requested proctoring services must also schedule exam appointment(s) in Register Blast at least 72 hours before their requested testing date(s) and time(s).
Note: You MUST schedule your exam appointments in Register Blast before the 72-hour deadline. Scheduling well in advance is much appreciated.
The last testing appointment time on Mondays–Thursdays is 5:30 p.m.; Fridays, 2:00 p.m. You must schedule your exam appointment so that you can complete your exam prior to the Testing Center’s closing times (Mondays–Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, 4:00 p.m.).
To schedule an exam appointment in Register Blast:
1. Go to the Gulf Coast State College homepage (www.gulfcoast.edu).
2. Scroll over the top Banner tab which reads “Admissions” and click on “Testing;” scroll down and look on the left side of the screen and click on “Register Blast” twice. Or you can search in the search bar at the top right corner for “Register Blast.”
3. Read the following directions concerning “Schedule an Exam Appointment,” scroll down and click “Schedule Your Exam”
4. Select which GCSC testing location best suits your needs.
5. Next, select the type of exam category your exam is considered (GCSC, FSU, PERT, SAR, etc.).
6. Next, you will need to select the type of exam you are needing to take.
7. A calendar will appear. Click on the date you would like to schedule your exam appointment. Note, the calendar will not allow you to register for an exam unless it is 72 hours in advance of the day you are registering.
8. Next, you will select a time that falls between the Testing Center’s hours of operations.
9. Next, you will need to fill out the following items: your name, email, Student ID, test name (Test 1; Exam 2; Midterm; Final; etc.), course’s full title, and Instructor’s last name.
10. Once you have filled in the necessary information and have agreed to the Exam guideline acknowledgement, select “Add to Cart.” Continue to the next page
11. If you are a Gulf Coast student or a FSU student, there is no exam fees for your appointment; simply finalize the appointment by clicking “Complete Registration.” However if you are a Non-Gulf Coast or non-FSU student, you will need to pay the exam fees before your appointment is finalize.
12. If you are scheduling appointments for more than one exam appointment, you can add additional exams by click on the “Add Another Exam” icon and repeat steps 4-10.
13. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email indicating your appointment has been made. Review the email to make sure all things are accurate. If you have not received a confirmation email, contact the Testing Center to confirm your appointment. If there are errors in your appointment, simply reply to the confirmation email indicating what needs to be corrected.
